About The Position
Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, Nurse Practitioner to join their team. Nurse Practitioner Opportunity: Full-time or part time Nurse Practitioner position in our pediatric clinic. The work would be half clinical and half administrative. On the clinical side they would see primarily well child visits and some acute illnesses visits. On the admin side they would be doing some calling of lab results, coordination of referrals and other admin duties that are typically done by an LPN or RN They would work alongside out two fulltime pediatricians. This would be good position for someone who’d be interested in something that’s not 100% clinical The Location: Rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage. Great fishing, hunting, and wildlife including the ability to go see polar bears and sled dogs. Daily flights to Anchorage and other Alaskan cities Amazing experience that is unique to rural Alaska! Excellent retail and dining that are all locally owned and operated Safe schools and community for a family
Requirements
- Must have a valid license Nurse Practitioner or PA license
- Nurse Practitioner does not need to be licensed in Alaska
