About The Position

Simbioza is a healthcare organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes through accessible, coordinated, and technology-enabled care. We support patients across multiple states, with a strong focus on continuity, quality, and compliance. We are seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner licensed in both Florida and Massachusetts to provide clinical care via telehealth. In this role, you will assess patients, manage treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support ongoing care delivery for diverse patient populations, including Medicare and Medicaid members. This position is well-suited for an experienced Nurse Practitioner who is comfortable working remotely and independently while maintaining high clinical standards.

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
  • Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
  • Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP)
  • National board certification (AANP or ANCC)
  • Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid patient populations
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation and billing-related requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Must reside in Florida or Massachusetts

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-state or compact nursing license
  • DEA registration or eligibility to obtain DEA registration
  • Two or more years of experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, or a related clinical setting
  • Prior experience delivering care via telehealth
  • Experience with electronic health record systems and virtual care tools

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual patient evaluations using secure telehealth platforms
  • Obtain and document medical histories and perform clinical assessments
  • Diagnose acute and chronic conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with state regulations
  • Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
  • Manage follow-up care and monitor patient progress over time
  • Provide preventive care, patient education, and health counseling
  • Collaborate with physicians, care coordinators, and other clinical staff
  • Document all encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Support care delivery for Medicare and Medicaid patients, including documentation aligned with billing requirements
  • Adhere to clinical protocols, telehealth standards, and regulatory guidelines
