Esse Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for their Gastroenterology Consultants office located at 3555 Sunset Office Drive, offering the opportunity to practice with independence and at the highest level of training.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians
Responsibilities
- Join a collaborative team and develop a 1:1 relationship with patients and clinical staff members
- Provide direct care to patients in a GI setting
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician partner
- Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen)
- Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
- Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
