Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities: This role will see established Optum Washington patients with acute care needs who are unable to see their primary care provider or have a concern that can be seen virtually, developing their panel overtime. You will treat general as well as acute care patients to ensure proper injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and recovery, as well as prescribe and administer medication and provide advice regarding personal health. This is a full-time role, with 36 patient contact hours weekly and dedicated administrative time. Most providers work a 4-Day work week; schedule is negotiable. Dedicated administrative time with visits lasting 40 or 20 minutes. 18-22 patients per day. MA in-basket support and RN phone triage. As always, providers are backed by our extensive network of specialty care doctors, pharmacy and ancillary services. Please note, while care is delivered virtually, this role requires the team member to live in Washington State and participate in onsite training.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted License to practice in Washington State
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • 2+ years of experience in an Urgent Care, Walk-in Clinic or Outpatient setting
