About The Position

The NICU Neonatal Nurse Practitioner manages patients in the NICU under the direction and indirect supervision of the Medical Director and/or his designees and the Nursing Director according to the established nursing standardized procedures. This role is a leadership position in the department and the individual is responsible for effective time management, resource utilization, and demonstration of positive role modeling.

Requirements

• Will consider experience as a Physician Assistant
• Current California RN license
• Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (maintain current at all times)
• Certification as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
• Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to present self in positive and professional manner

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree
