About The Position
The NICU Neonatal Nurse Practitioner manages patients in the NICU under the direction and indirection supervision of the Medical Director and/or his designees and the Nursing Director according to the established nursing standardized procedures. This role is a leadership position in the department and the individual is responsible for effective time management, resource utilization, and demonstration of positive role modeling. The hospital network provides advanced care with services such as comprehensive stroke care, a cancer center, a Level 1 Trauma Center and the only Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Coachella Valley.
