About The Position

Fairview is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Adult Psychiatry Inpatient to join our growing inpatient team at the newly opened Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. This state-of-the-art, 144-bed behavioral health hospital was purpose-built to support patients with acute mental health needs in a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused environment. As our program continues to expand, advanced practice providers have the opportunity to help shape scheduling, workflow, and clinical program development in collaboration with engaged hospital leadership. Capitol Park Hospital is purpose-built to support patients with acute mental health needs in a safe, calming, and therapeutic environment. The facility features modern units, ample natural light, and a care model designed to support patients through stabilization and recovery. Requirements

  • Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
  • BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC
  • Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
  • BLS certified
  • Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is required
  • PMHNP certification REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in acute care, adolescent care and/or geriatric care preferred
