Use your experience to provide psychiatric consultation; conduct follow up; and be a liaison to the telepsychiatry team to ensure quality care of patients. This is dedicated to providing patients with comprehensive care so that they can lead fulfilling lives to the greatest extent possible. Use your Psych NP skills to provide mental health care to this diverse community in the beautifully historic Bronxville neighborhood. This is a wonderful opportunity to sharpen your skills as a clinician while working alongside the some of the most talented in the field. This is a Per Diem flex position covering day/evening 8 hour shifts at NewYork Presbyterian Westchester. Located in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Advanced Practice
- Current NYS RN License
- Current NYS NP License
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification for all Nurse Practitioners who provide direct patient care
- Excellent Customer Service
Nice To Haves
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Prior management and leadership experience
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- At least 3 - 5 years experience in acute care setting
