As an NP at our hospital, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients. You will coordinate decision-making with the psychiatrist, perform clinical assessments, and develop treatment plans. Our team includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, therapists, and educators. Requirements
- Completion of a Master’s Program (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited nursing school.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Washington
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting
- Comprehensive liability insurance

Responsibilities
- Conduct follow-up visits after initial assessments
- Participate in weekly staffing and family sessions
- Prescribe pharmacologic interventions as necessary
- Review laboratory and diagnostic test results
- Consult with attending psychiatrists and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to perform clinical assessments, adhering to psychiatric and medical nursing procedures
- Communicate with patients, families, and others to obtain required information
