About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, the advanced practice provider will deliver comprehensive care both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The NP/PA will care for individuals and families of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of acute and chronic conditions. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are essential, as the provider will play a key role in building positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues while ensuring continuity of care. Responsibilities include conducting health assessments and physical exams, collecting and analyzing medical histories, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. The NP/PA will prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide patient education on prevention and chronic disease management. Collaboration with physicians and other team members is expected to ensure coordinated care, along with accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). The provider will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and remain current with evidence-based guidelines and best practices. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • For Nurse Practitioners (NP): Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • For Physician Assistants (PA): Bachelor's degree in a health/science-related field.
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current and valid Wisconsin Physician Assistant licensure.
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous specialty experience preferred.
  • Previous primary care or specialty experience preferred.
