Requirements

Previous experience in a clinical setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Knowledge of current medical practices, standards, and protocols
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Valid State Licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant
Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
High ethical and professional standards
Commitment to continuous education and professional development

Responsibilities

Conduct physical exams and record patient histories
Diagnose and treat illnesses
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, blood tests)
Develop and manage treatment plans
Prescribe medications as appropriate
Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care
Perform routine healthcare tasks such as immunizations and wound care
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Accurately document patient care services
Manage follow-up care and continuity of treatment plans
