Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a community focused primary care setting. This role offers a collaborative clinical environment, broad scope of practice, and the opportunity to serve rural patient populations. POSITION OVERVIEW The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides quality healthcare and treatment to patients including health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. This role practices within scope and collaborates with supervising physicians when applicable. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Certification from approved governing body
- Active Maine NP or PA license or ability to obtain
- Current CPR and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work within collaborative care model
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Promote health education and preventative care
- Manage patient care plans and follow up
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
