Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urgent Care Health CARE Express is now hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for our fast-paced urgent care clinics. We are hiring for full-time positions and prefer candidates with 2+ years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency settings. About HealthCARE Express Founded in 2006, HealthCARE Express has grown to 16 urgent care clinics, a specialty clinic, and a medical billing department across Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana . With nearly 400 team members , we care for about 230,000 patients annually . Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency settings
- New hires may be required to attend a 4-day onboarding/training session in Texarkana, TX
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Perform history taking, exams, lab testing, simple procedures, and prescribe medications
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Support a customer-focused environment and uphold high standards of care
- Lead the clinic when needed and supervise support staff in a positive, teaching-focused manner
- Stay flexible with cross-training and assist with tasks outside your normal scope as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve clinic flow and support our mission and values
