Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. The NP/PA will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and other members of the clinical team. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, performing routine procedures, and developing individualized treatment plans. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The NP/PA will work both independently and collaboratively, adhering to evidence-based guidelines and organizational policies. This role also includes patient education, care coordination, documentation within the electronic health record, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive, supportive clinic culture focused on improving patient outcomes and enhancing access to care.

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
Current and unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of practice.
National board certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC for NPs; NCCPA for PAs).
Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
Valid DEA registration or eligibility to obtain DEA registration as required.
Clinical experience in a relevant setting (e.g., primary care, urgent care, specialty) OR strong clinical rotations demonstrating competency.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient-education skills.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and ability to document accurately and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of experience as an NP or PA in a related clinical specialty.
ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), if applicable to role.
Experience performing procedures relevant to the specialty (e.g., suturing, joint injections, women's health procedures, etc.).
Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines and care pathways.
Bilingual or multilingual skills, if applicable to patient population.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
Diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within scope of practice.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising or collaborating physicians.
Prescribe medications, therapies, and durable medical equipment according to state regulations.
Perform clinical procedures appropriate to specialty (e.g., wound care, suturing, joint injections, diagnostic testing).
Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic results.
Provide patient education on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to support shared decision-making.
Facilitate referrals, follow-up care, and transitions between care settings.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, organizational policies, and professional standards of practice.
Participate in quality assurance, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives.
