About The Position

We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife at our Mira Mesa Health Center. Bring your passion for reproductive healthcare to life by providing high-quality exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling. You’ll also be a go-to medical resource, supporting and empowering both licensed and non-licensed team members. This role is considered Full-Time/Fully-Benefited and is designed for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or a Certified Nurse Midwife licensed in the state of California. Please note: the schedule for this position includes 1 day scheduled at our Kearny Mesa Health Center. The 3-day schedule is listed below. Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Saturday In this role, you’ll get to: Change lives. Receive a rigorous training and on-boarding program similar to a fellowship. Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements. Partner with a Case Management team, which will communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care. Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affirming Hormone therapy). Requirements

  • Hold an active California license as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Midwife

  • Demonstrate compassion in providing patient care and supporting staff
  • Are willing to jump in to help with coverage if need be
