Requirements

  • Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in California
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Oncology Nursing (preferred but not required)
  • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced oncology care, including patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in inpatient call rotations, addressing patient needs and supporting the oncology team
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care
  • Assist in managing symptoms and side effects related to cancer treatments
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
