About The Position

MyMichigan Health has an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the growing Hematology & Oncology Services in Midland, Michigan! Full time, dayshift Monday-Friday Inpatient and outpatient No weekends or holidays No call

Requirements

• AHA approved BLS Certification
• Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Three years of experience with oncology preferred, primary care or hospital medicine experience will also be considered
• Must exercise the highest degree of professional judgement under the direction of a licensed physician
• Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health's credentialing process
• Robust onboarding and training program

Responsibilities

• See patients for their follow-up appointments including hematology, hospital discharges and care coordination, acute visits for patients with chemo complications
• Assists collaborating physician with consults
• Provide education to the patient and their family
• Order and review imaging and laboratory testing
