Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology
About The Position
The Cardiology Department at Mayo Clinic Health Systems – La Crosse is a growing and progressive practice. The role of the electrophysiology nurse practitioner/physician assistant includes providing comprehensive direct and indirect patient care including consultations, periprocedural evaluation and follow-up, and routine office visits. Inpatient care may also include inpatient consultations and procedural discharges. The position requires the ability to communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient's clinical condition; results of diagnostic studies; and patient symptomatology as appropriate. In response to changes in patient condition; accurately and effectively modifies therapeutic interventions. Our team-based care model requires strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate and work together as part of a team.
