About The Position

An exempt position with clinical, administrative and educational responsibilities in the care of patients requiring cardiac care. Under the supervision of the Executive Committee, Executive Leadership Group and the APP Council, the NP or PA will have a critical role in the ambulatory and acute care setting, with both team member and individual duties This job description is intended to provide basic guidelines for meeting job requirements. Responsibilities, knowledge, skills, abilities, and working conditions may change as needs evolve.

Requirements

• AHA ACLS and BLS certification required
• Willingness to work in multiple clinic locations and hospitals
• Willingness to work a variable schedule as required
• 1-3 years of prior experience as NP or PA preferred
• Current and active RN and NP license for the state of Alaska
• State of Alaska NP Prescriptive Privileges
• Active DEA certificate
• ANCC or AANP certification
• Current and active PA license for the state of Alaska
• Alaska Dispensing Authority
• Active DEA certificate
• AHA ACLS and BLS certification

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in designated area preferred.
• 1-3 years of prior experience as NP or PA preferred
• Willing to consider new graduates as well
