About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong background in wound care to provide mobile wound management services across Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) in the Dallas area. This is a field-based role ideal for an autonomous clinician who values flexibility, independence, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
  • Minimum 1–2 years as an NP with wound care experience.
  • Direct patient care within the past 6–12 months.
  • Current certifications and credentials required for NP practice in Texas.
  • Able to work approximately 40 hours per week during standard operating hours.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for travel between facilities.
  • Proficient with EMR systems and mobile documentation tools.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive wound assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and conduct follow-up evaluations.
  • Provide advanced wound care, including sharp/surgical, enzymatic, autolytic, and mechanical debridement.
  • Utilize advanced modalities such as MIST Therapy (low-frequency, non-contact ultrasound).
  • Collect PCR samples for rapid pathogen identification and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Apply skin grafts, tissue substitutes, and regenerative therapies to promote healing.
  • Collaborate with facility nursing teams, physicians, and care coordinators for continuity of care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate electronic charting.
  • Educate facility staff on wound prevention, dressing protocols, and infection control practices.
  • Uphold compliance, professionalism, and patient confidentiality standards.
