About The Position
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Family Nurse Practitioner provides direct medical treatment to members served. At the Telecare Kern Adult PHF, we provide 24/7 intensive mental health and psychiatric treatment services in a safe, welcoming environment for adults experiencing a mental health emergency. 16 beds that serves individuals aged 18 and older who reside in Kern County and need therapeutic/inpatient psychiatric services and may be admitted voluntarily or involuntarily, pursuant to Welfare & Institutions Code 5250 et seq.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
