About The Position
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Family Nurse Practitioner provides direct medical treatment to members served. The Santa Cruz County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed locked acute psychiatric inpatient program for adults aged 18+, diagnosed with serious mental illness (SMI), experiencing a mental health emergency and require intensive treatment and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
