About The Position
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Cardiology to join a dynamic multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This role is open to experienced NPs, offering the chance to provide high-quality cardiac care in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Active NY State Nurse Practitioner License; Board Certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of outpatient cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience in an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in EHR systems, cardiac diagnostics (e.g., EKG, stress tests), and treatment protocols.
- Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cardiovascular assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to manage chronic and acute cardiac issues.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., echocardiograms, Holter monitors).
- Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with practice standards.
