About The Position
HealthCARE Express is hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for a fast-paced urgent care setting where excellent care and a great team culture go hand in hand. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency room settings and must be available to work weekday shifts. Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency room settings
- Must be available to work weekday shifts
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients of all ages.
- Conducting patient histories and exams
- Ordering and interpreting lab testing
- Performing simple procedures
- Prescribing medications according to current standards of care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism
- Follow established infection control procedures and safety protocols, especially when handling sharps and body fluids
- Adhere to clinic protocols to help create a customer friendly environment that reflects best practices in medicine
- Supervise and guide medical staff with a focus on teaching and mentorship
- Cross-train in various tasks and occasionally assist outside your normal scope of practice to meet clinic needs
- Observe, identify, and act on opportunities that move the organization forward while representing our mission, values, and vision
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
