About The Position
The Nurse Navigator functions to provide access to quality care for Temple employees who require Occupational Health services. The Nurse Navigator, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team assists employees along the continuum of care from initial reporting of work injury or request of a service, coordination of care & follow ups, reporting. The navigator will serve as a clinical resource with expertise in Occupational Health care management while also providing guidance to the employee related to scheduling appointments, removing access related barriers including insurance and transportation, and answering clinical care related question. Certified Occupational Health Nurse must be obtained within 36 months of hire or transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
- 5 years in nursing Required
- PA Registered Nurse License Required
- Cert Occupational Health Nurse Within 3 years Required
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- 2 years in a nursing role within Occupational Health Preferred
