City of Hope is seeking experienced Nurse Managers to lead operations and clinical teams across multiple specialty areas. About the Role The Nurse Manager oversees daily operations and program management for a designated group of clinics or units, collaborating closely with the Director of Nursing. Responsible for achieving financial, quality, and strategic goals, the Nurse Manager leads with a positive, people-focused approach, fostering a supportive and engaging work environment. Acting as a change agent, they promote open communication, professional development, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards while ensuring efficient use of resources and the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • BSN or MSN.
  • Must have experience with Pediatric Patients
  • At least 3 years of experience in an area of expertise relevant to the department with demonstrated progressive leadership growth.
  • Current California RN license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), BLS certification, and national certification in area of expertise or leadership (within 12 months), ACLS or PALS based on selected department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient staffing and resource allocation.
  • Manage budgets and monitor financial performance.
  • Guide quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance.
