About The Position

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Openly supports and consistently communicates the mission, goals and values of LRHC. 2. Serves as a liaison between staff and administration. Represents the clinic's needs to Administration and communicates administrative policies and positions to staff. 3. Actively serves as member of the Management Team. Collaborates with other members on projects, goals, and organization and clinic operations. 4. Maintains effective intra and interdepartmental communication to coordinate optimal patient care and clinic functioning. 5. Supervises activities of nursing and support staff of the clinic. 6. Identifies educational needs of staff and facilitates on-going education based on those needs. 7. Serves as a nursing and support staff advocate. 8. Promotes collaborative practice among medical, nursing and support staffs. 9. Hires staff within budgeted allowances. Plans, organizes and implements the orientation of department personnel. 10. Evaluates the performance of nursing and support staff and counsels as appropriate. Conducts probationary and annual performance reviews in accordance with Human Resources' guidelines. 11. Develops staffing plan and prepares schedules in conjunction with providers. 12. Oversees clinic-specific Performance Improvement activities and coordinates them with the Quality Improvement Team. 13. Monitors unit inventory to ensure that supplies and equipment are available, in good condition, and utilized in a cost-effective manner. Recommends the purchase of new equipment or supplies as needed. 14. Ensures that nursing and support staff have the resources, skills and authority to perform their jobs safely and well. 15. Ensures complete and accurate demographic and billing data collection in the Practice. 16. Ensures compliance with all PHS Section 330 grant requirements and all applicable federal, state and local regulations. 17. Performs and manages lead nurse functions and other duties as necessary
