You’ll support the Executive Director of Nursing in promoting excellence in clinical operations, patient care delivery, and professional development. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing highly preferred; associate degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in acute care nursing, minimum 2 years’ experience in ER required.
  • Demonstrated leadership with 3+ years management experience and Critical Access Hospital experience preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas
  • ACLS and PALS current or within 6 months of hire
  • TNCC current or within 1 year of hire
  • CPR current

  • Demonstrates knowledge of educational plans, evidence-based practice, and competency for growth and development needs and staff education needs that apply to all staff levels and abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language with particular emphasis on presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills.
