Department/Unit Summary Join our team in a Rehabilitation where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of Registered Nurses (RNs). You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The Nurse Manager (RN) is responsible for overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, including supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards, and collaborating with leadership to optimize patient care delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Attention to detail in clinical documentation is essential.
  • Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum two years of rehab nursing experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • BCLS required

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS preferred
  • CRRN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit.
  • Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies.
  • Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
  • Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
  • Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
