Requirements

  • Applicants should be a graduate of accredited school of nursing and state Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within 2 years

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in Nursing/Healthcare Preferred
  • Five years nursing management experience Preferred
  • Patient Safety Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Establishes strategic goals for assigned units aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.
  • Manages the team assigned
  • Collaborates with the members of the Patient Care Team
  • Schedules Monthly staff meetings
  • Demonstrates annual competencies
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements
  • Approves Kronos
  • Takes Active role in improving patient throughput
  • Provides leadership in critical thinking, conflict management and problem solving.
  • Assures compliance with all regulatory agencies. Develops action plans and monitors performance.
  • Continually improves employee engagement and safety.
  • Serves as an ambassador for the organization displaying a positive image in the community to ensure sound relationships.
  • Serves as a professional role model and mentor to motivate, develop nurse leaders and staff RNs who aspire to be in future leadership roles.
