About The Position
Manages the planning, administering, and evaluating of the operations and care delivery of the nursing unit/department. Oversees professional practice, clinical outcomes, human resources management, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and refinement in response to needs and trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program/school (AD/AS in Nursing, RN Diploma, BSN or MSN).
- Five years of related acute hospital experience including management.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.
- National Certification in Area of Specialty.
- Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications required.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree preferred.
