The Clinical Nursing Manager is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on the assigned unit (Cardiac Cath Lab). The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. The Clinical Nursing Manager role demonstrates a high level of integrity, willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement. This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. The Clinical Nursing Manager supports associate development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. The Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Anthony Hospital, one of our proud Magnet hospitals, is a four-room cardiovascular lab, where employees care for those requiring interventional and structural heart procedures, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, Laser Lead Extraction, Atrial-Flutter and Atrial Fibrillation Ablation, explants and implants, Arterectomy, Balloon Angioplasty and stents. Cath Lab team members work collegially with our specialty medical providers. We provide preparation and recovery of inpatients and outpatients requiring use of the Cardiac Cath Lab. Our unit staffs Monday through Friday with on-call support after hours and weekends. New technology and techniques provide new arenas for life-long learning.
