About The Position
Royal Oak Nursing Center in Dade City, Florida is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join their team. The LPN/RN will provide high-quality skilled nursing care and services to residents of the facility and supervise Certified Nurse Assistants in the day-to-day delivery of resident care.
Requirements
- Clear and Active LPN or RN license with the State of Florida.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Must pass a level II background screen.
- Compassionate and respectful demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet physical and sensory requirements as stated in the job description.
Responsibilities
- Operate and supervise within the prescribed scope of practice for an LPN or RN in the State of Florida.
- Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
- Review and update care plans for residents.
- Contact families, physicians and other providers as needed to report changes of condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, NP or PA.
- Administer specialized skilled services as prescribed by the physician or extender orders.
- Direct and supervise nurse assistants.
- Other duties as assigned in the job description.
