Position Overview: The Clinical Informaticist promotes the understanding, integration, and practical application of healthcare information technology to support clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and organizational strategic goals. This role is responsible for driving the optimal, effective use of the electronic health record (EHR) and related clinical technologies to improve patient care, documentation accuracy, and quality outcomes across clinical care settings. The Clinical Informaticist will collaborate with interprofessional care teams, operational leaders, revenue cycle staff, and technical teams to analyze and translate clinical workflow and documentation requirements into efficient EHR solutions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent clinical background and hands-on experience supporting EHR implementation, optimization, and standardization in ambulatory and/or acute care environments. Location: Prefer the candidate hired resided in our Minnesota market but also open to candidates located in our Wisconsin market. Travel: This position entails a mix of time spent in the field and time spent working from home/administrative days. This role will be in the field at least 1-2 days per week . Travel to clinical sites will be required for orientation, training, workflow observation, and go-live support. Travel to corporate office in Stillwater, MN on occasion for meetings, trainings, and onboarding. Anticipate 40% of the time in this role will be working directly with our clinicians Schedule: Full time position, regular business hours Monday thru Friday. While the role is primarily standard business hours, the nature of system administration and maintenance necessitates occasional work during off-hours, including evenings or weekends , to minimize user disruption during essential system updates, patching, or critical incident response. Salary: $100,000-$130,000 annually . Salary will be commensurate with experience.
