About The Position

Informaticist needed for Valley View's IT team! Oncology experience preferred! We're looking for local candidates or ones who are willing to locate to the Roaring Fork Valley! General Objectives: Train and support clinicians in inpatient settings on clinical information systems and EHRs. Act as a liaison between healthcare staff and IT to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs. Develop, implement, and advise user-centric solutions based on business and clinical needs. Promote user-friendly, patient-centric innovations to improve patient outcomes and enhance clinical workflows. This is a primarily onsite position with the opportunity for remote work.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field is required.
  • Clinical licensure recognized to qualify for position: OT, PT, RDN, RN, or RT
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare business process/operational knowledge/acumen or equivalent.
  • Experience and/or strong understanding of working in a clinical setting, particularly in acute care.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to adapt to emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional analysis, problem-solving, documentation, and training skills.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with remote work tools and project management.
  • Ability to coordinate methods for optimal results and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Knowledge of EHR/EMR systems and the ability to influence at the provider level.
