About The Position
The Nurse Extern, under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, performs care appropriate to the patient population served and meets daily routine patient care needs. The nurse extern may also assist nursing staff by transporting patients, running errands, and transporting equipment to and from units as requested. The 2026 Externship provides an exciting opportunity to explore our Specialty Pathways, offering immersive, hands-on exposure to practice areas aligned with your career goals. Each pathway features two rotations across different locations, delivering broad experience and in-depth, specialty-focused learning. Specialty Pathways Offered: Intermediate Care Critical Care Emergency Care Women’s & Children’s Behavioral Health Outpatient Services Surgical Services
