About The Position

The Banner Health Nurse Extern program offers nursing students within 12 months of graduation (Junior or Senior) the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience under the supervision of an RN preceptor. Externs will practice various skills such as patient assessment, medication administration, IV pump adjustments, oxygen management, and basic EMR data collection.
