How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead unit workflows and resource allocation to ensure every patient receives seamless, high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. Create strategic departmental goals that elevate clinical standards while ensuring our practice remains at the forefront of ethical and legal excellence. Champion the patient experience by overseeing comprehensive care plans and clinical activities, ensuring every voice is heard and every concern is resolved with empathy. Cultivate a high-performing clinical team through intentional hiring, mentorship, and continuous learning initiatives that empower staff to reach their full potential. Manage departmental health by overseeing budgets and quality audits, ensuring our resources are used effectively to sustain long-term operational excellence. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required. BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred. Work Experience: 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred. What additional preferences we're seeking Acute care leadership: Proven experience leading as a Director of Nursing, DON, or RN Director within an acute care hospital environment. Resource management expertise: Specialized experience in staffing, labor management, and scheduling, specifically overseeing complex areas like float pools, house supervisors, or contingent staff. Requirements
