Note: Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary Under general supervision of the manager for the specialty area, participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide consultative nursing services within a clinical area of specialization. Serves as a patient advocate and provides emotional support and home care instructions for patient and family; provides ongoing staff and community education and supports the implementation of outreach/outpatient programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, including one year in area of specialization.
  • Two to three years Pediatric nursing experience, including one year in area of specialization, if in a pediatric setting.
  • Pediatric acute care experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialty certification by professional organization, preferred.
  • Pediatric acute care experience preferred.
