Summary Under the general direction of the Clinical Nurse manager, the Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit managerial team and assists that Nurse Manager in providing continuity of operational management and patient care management of a specified unit/service. The Clinical Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who has successfully completed the unit and department nursing competencies with a comprehensive understanding and competent skill level in patient care principles and evaluation of work performance to assure effective behavior in this leadership role. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor exhibits behaviors that enhance professional development, critical thinking and performance that reflect the key moral commitment, ethical principles, values and philosophy of Confluence Health. Promotes staff productivity through a defined care delivery system, and facilitation of the professional practice model and governance structure.
