About The Position
The Student Nurse Apprentice assists nursing staff with activities of daily living, vital signs, and patient care, ensuring safety and comfort while following instructions and established routines. They perform duties according to recognized standards and provide maximum patient care within their scope, including supervised procedures learned in their nursing program, excluding medication administration, which requires documented approval from their clinical instructor.
Requirements
- PRN
- Enrolled in a School of Nursing and in good standing.
- In last year of an accredited BSN program or the last semester of an accredited ASN program.
- Provide documentation from their School of Nursing that verifies level of clinical skills completed prior to performing any duties beyond a CNA.
- BLS/CPR Certification
