About The Position

This position serves to provide leadership and strategic execution for a nurse educator service platform designed to support patients in navigating and utilizing available resources to better understand their conditions and effectively manage their treatment plans. The Nurse Ambassador District Manager II should provide impact not only at the district level but also at the Regional and Program level. Coordinate patient activity within in-field and remote teams to ensure patients are empowered through their treatment journey. Create, implement, and communicate District business Plan and monitor progress. Prioritize activity to achieve results with your team[s]. Maximize vendor partnership to achieve results for the patients. Ensure smooth, collaborative efforts in both day to day and long term business execution. Set tone and pace for business process and organization. Understand and present a franchise/business point of view when leading teams and championing meeting by developing a mastery of product and disease state information, as well as pertinent Market dynamics, including Managed Care landscape. Coach, mentor, educate and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance individual skills and elevate overall team performance. Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors. Provide direction and insights to key internal partners in business planning process. Consistently exemplify the AbbVie Ways of Working. Prioritize patient needs across your team[s], and across multiple brands and indications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
  • Business analysis and planning skills that drive performance for the patient. Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.
  • Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage behaviors. Ability to create a culture or a high performing team with full team engagement.
  • Collaborates and is able to influence without authority across organizations. Models AbbVie's Ways of Working.
  • An essential requirement of your position is to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory. You must also be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain these credentials.
  • These HCIR credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination for various diseases, fingerprinting and specific licenses required by individual state or cities.   • Valid driver's license: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
