About The Position
The State Registered Nurses Aide performs selected patient care activities. The State Registered Nurses Aide is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and provides various patient care activities and non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Must be capable of physically assisting patients, dealing with patient emergencies, and working as a member of a clinical team Essential Functions Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services. Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures
Requirements
- Education: HSD or GED
- Licenses: State Registered Nursing Assistant certification
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
