About The Position

2nd Shift Numerical Control Programmer- Machining/Tooling (Mid-Level or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an experienced Numerical Control Programmer within the Fabrication Organization in Auburn Washington. The NC Programmer will provide programming expertise for multi-axis high speed machining of aluminum & hard metal aircraft components, to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) programs. Primary Responsibilities: Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience. Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. Works under general direction.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years NC programming experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Mid-Level)
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • CATIA V5 NC Programming Experience related to: multi-axis high speed machining of aluminum & titanium aircraft components, Machine Control Data (MCD) and new machining process development
  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Senior Level)

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $107,100 - $144,900
  • Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $129,200 - $174,800
  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
