About The Position

14570 - Nuclear Planner Scheduler (onsite) – Palo, IA Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting : 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration. Required: Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Palo, IA (required); Experience with P-6 Primavera scheduling software; Technical experience preferably in a nuclear facility in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations (6-10 years); Experience independently leading maintenance scheduling and trend analysis activities; Experience with computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Online scheduling applications, Work management processes. Preferred: Completion of a Maintenance Trade apprenticeship program; Associate's degree in Engineering or related physical science (or prior relevant military experience as equivalent). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Prepare, analyze, and publish daily P-6 work schedules to optimize equipment availability and manpower usage; Monitor schedule progress and recommend appropriate modifications; Document schedule problems, maintain statistics, and perform trend analysis; Develop computerized critical-path schedules for day-to-day maintenance activities; Develop and manage schedules for refueling and maintenance outages; Act as liaison with engineering department and/or vendors to coordinate activities; Provide guidance to non-exempt employees as assigned.
