Doses patients with radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals as prescribed by the physician's orders, and under the supervision of the radiologist "authorized user" in the Imaging Department. Completes quality control and quality assurance procedures as required by the hospital and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license. Ensures complete and accurate data entry in the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS).

Requirements

  • Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the ARRT or CNMT.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Clinical rotations in an accredited medical imaging program may be considered as experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Advance Registration in PET optional.
  • PET/CT experience is also preferred.
