Under limited supervision, Nuclear Medicine exams and procedures to include PET-CT, Diagnostic CT, and General Nuclear Medicine examinations. Collaborates with Medical Director and Supervisor on technical issues, equipment performance and QA. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.Under limited supervision, Nuclear Medicine exams and procedures to include PET-CT, Diagnostic CT, and General Nuclear Medicine examinations. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine or Molecular Imaging Program.
  • Minimum five years of experience in nuclear medicine including at least two years previous PET & CT or nuclear medical experience.
  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (Nuclear) certification where required by state law.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT exams, including radiopharmaceutical and contrast administration, patient positioning, and image processing.
  • Ensure patient safety by following radiation protocols, monitoring for contrast reactions, and conducting daily quality control checks.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, image transfers, archiving, and report distribution.
  • Support scheduling and front office functions to promote efficient workflow.
  • Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and manage medical and office supply inventory.
