About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NM Tech) performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures. They work under a Radiologist's supervision. These procedures are for ambulatory and hospital patients. A physician or licensed provider requests them for diagnosing disease and injury. They follow established protocols.
Requirements
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N), Cert Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT): Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine - ARRT (N).
- Certified by the NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
