Depending upon the desired qualifications of the successful applicant, the hiring manager may elect to fill this position at a higher level within the job hierarchy. Position Summary This is the second level of the Nuclear Materials Specialist classification hierarchy. Employees at this level generally have more experience versus MS-I and will work with close levels of supervision. Employees in NMS-II may work in areas that require limited knowledge and may not have skills to serve in multiple areas of warehouse operations. Examples include new hires with some warehouse operations experience. Note: This posting is for one position. Dependent on relevant experience, the level to which a candidate is aligned is outlined below.

Requirements

  • (Nuclear Materials Specialist II) High School/GED degree 1-year related work experience
  • (Nuclear Materials Specialist III) High School/GED degree 3-year related work experience
  • Must be able to arrive at required location promptly once called for emergency call-out when scheduled for on-call duty during nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
  • Maintain valid driver's license, fork truck certification and all assigned training (safety, environmental, ethics, etc.).
  • Willing to travel as a shared resource within any business unit in support of any business need deemed necessary by Supply Chain Leadership

Nice To Haves

  • In addition to desired degree, 2 years related work experience
  • Forklift operator qualification
  • Nuclear Asset Suite or other Inventory software experience
  • Very good oral communications skills
  • Increased work activities not requiring direct supervision
  • Understands material identification via supply chain system catalog IDs and can productively pick/issue, receiving and/or count inventory / materials.

Responsibilities

  • NMS-I duties plus the following
  • Picking / issuing / cycle counting inventory via supply chain system transactions
  • Interacting with Supply Chain customers as needed (issue counter, planning meetings, represent Supply Chain on assigned teams, etc.)
  • Receiving Inspection activities for inventory related items.
