Southern Nuclear Operating Company's Nuclear Fuel and Analysis Department supports the Southern Nuclear fleet in nuclear fuel procurement, fuel contract administration, and fuel supply fiscal and inventory management accounting, fuel economic analysis, fuel fabrication oversight. The Nuclear Fuel Supply Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, procurement, and lifecycle management of nuclear fuel and associated services to support safe, reliable, and cost‑effective plant operations. This role leads fuel supply contracting, supplier relationships, and market analysis while ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and financial control requirements. This manager and their respective team will serve as the primary Southern Nuclear interface with external suppliers and stakeholders for nuclear fuel supply. This role leads a team of contract agents and engineers, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to provide strategic direction, work cross functionally, and execute nuclear fuel procurement strategies for Southern Nuclear.
